The Trial
Having a hair & makeup trial before your wedding day will give you that sneak preview of your bridal look and the perfect chance to be pampered. Have your bridal crew there with to if you want to make it a proper celebration!
A good time to have your bridal trial is 2-4 months before the wedding day. By now you will have your dress, accessories, and the trial will stay fresher in your mind. It will take approx 2-3 hours and in this time we will get to know each other, discuss ideas for your hair and make up and create 'the look' that will be the best you have ever felt. I always recommend keeping the hair and makeup on for the rest of the day to see how it wears. Then the fun bit comes in the evening when you get to count how many hair pins have been used 🙂
What to bring to a wedding trial...
- Have your skin makeup free, cleansed and moisturised.
- Wash and blow dry your hair the day before the trial.
- Share with me any pictures of hair or make up images that you like.
- If you are planning to have a spray tan for you wedding then its a good idea to have one for your trial too.
- Ideally wear the same colour top to the colour you plan on wearing on the wedding day.
- If you already have your hair accessories, jewellery or veil, its a perfect time to try it on to see how it looks with the hair style.
- If you have any favourite products that you use already then I am more than happy to use them during the trial.
Don't forget to take plenty of pictures to look back on and share with your bridal party.
