Terms & Conditions

The Client-Recipient of the service.

The company- Styled by Sadie

The agreement: The agreement between the client and the company, confirmed by email for agreed services.

Bookings and Payments

1)Wedding day bookings are secured upon receipt of a £50 non refundable deposit and event bookings a £25 deposit.

The deposit is deducted from the final fee due. The deposit must be paid within 7 days to secure your wedding date.  Should the funds not be received within this time frame, your will be made available to other clients/brides. 

2) By paying your non refundable deposit you are agreeing and accepting to Styled by Sadie t&c’s.

3)The final balance is due, cleared in full in my bank account 14 days prior to the wedding date.  If payment is not received, I reserve the right to terminate the agreement. 

4)Payment can be accepted in cash or ideally by bank transfer, bank details will be provided on the invoice.

Trials

1. Trials are held between Monday-Friday at your home or a convenient address.
2. Weekend trials- Morning trials aren’t available as these dates are reserved for weddings however I will take trials from 3pm and they will be based at The Treatment Hub, 27 London Street RG21 7PG. 
3. In the unfortunate event that you decide after your trial that you are not satisfied, please email styledbysadiemay@gmail.com within 24hrs so any issues can be resolved. Refunds cannot be given on any work carried out.
4. 3)Trial hair and makeup appointments can be booked at any time. Payment for the trial is due 7 days before the trial date and to be made by bank transfer.
5. The trial will last approximately 3 hr per person. If the trial goes over 3.5hrs then an additional £30 per hr will be added on to the cost of the trial 
6. If a second trial is requested for a different look then Styled by Sadie is more than happy to arrange this, the same fee applies as for the first trial.

If you need to cancel or change the booking.

1)Cancellations are only deemed valid if received via email. If for any reason you cancel your wedding booking, your cancellation must be confirmed by email as soon as possible. The £50 deposit is non-refundable and any the full wedding/event payment will be due if cancellations are made 6 weeks before the wedding/event is due to take place.

2)In current circumstances I will transfer your wedding deposit if your wedding is affected by Covid-19. If I don’t have your new wedding date available then I will refund 25% of your booking fee if the notice period is within the 8 week notice time frame.

3)Payment for any work carried out is non refundable.

4)Any additional services or changes need to be in writing 2 months prior to the wedding date and can only be accepted if time and resources allow. 

5)The final balance is due, cleared in full in my bank account 14 days prior to the wedding date.  If payment is not received, I reserve the right to terminate the agreement. 

If I need to cancel the booking.

1. In the unfortunate event that I am unable to attend on the day due to illness or last minute, unforeseen circumstances all efforts will be made to find a stylist/artist to fill in.
2. In an unlikely event  that I cannot find a replacement artist, monies (excluding money paid for work already carried out) will be fully refunded.
3. If an assistant artist is needed but they are unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances then I will arrange for an earlier start time to accommodate original numbers or a refund can be offered on services that have been forfeited.

Insurance

1. Sadie and her assistants have public liability insurance.
2. All of Sadie's electrical equipment has been PAT tested with an up to date certificate.

Products/Allergies

1)The client must inform Sadie before and services  are carried out if they have any allergies/skin conditions or sensitivities.

2)Discounts are not given if you want to use your own products on the day. Sadie cannot be held liable for the performance and longevity of the products.

Work Requirements

Sadie will require a flat table surface and a chair located near to a power source on the trial and wedding day..

TRAVEL & ACCOMMODATION EXPENSES 

Travel expenses are incurred for bookings for every mile outside a 25 mile road distance from location  RG26  to the venue and charged at  a rate of 50p for every mile. This applies on the return journey to. 

Distances are calculated using an on-line journey planner and travel expenses will be agreed between Sadie and the Client as part of the Contract.

Congestion Charge – Traveling inside the congestion charge zone is payable by the client.

Parking – Expenses are charged to the client.

PHOTOGRAPHY & USE OF IMAGES

Photographic/video images of the client and Occasion/ Services may be used by Sadie in promotional material unless the client has expressly refused permission for the said use and confirmed this by email.

LASHES

Full set eyelashes are included in the price for the makeup service, there is no reduction in price for any makeup service if they are declined.

FLOWER GIRLS

Makeup services for younger members of the bridal party who are up to 12 years old are available by arrangement.

PLEASE NOTE THAT BY SECURING A BOOKING OR CONFIRMING A TRIAL THE CLIENT ACCEPTS THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
